You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no results. Gandhi

For Whom?

If you are having difficulties in navigating your way through a concrete project or situation, professional or personal, on implementing some changes needed in your life, or feel you could use some help in finding your direction in life then coaching might be for you.. read on...

Why?

If you feel that there are challenges you are not sure at the moment how to overcome, or that a project you are involved in - professional or personal - seems blocked then perhaps coaching could be for you. When we face obstacles in our path, it does not necessarily mean we need to give up, or that it's too much for us to handle. Mostly its just that in that particular moment in time we face ourselves with a combination of factors that seem to block our progress and we do not see a clear way forward.  There are other situations where we seem to know what we need to do in order to move forward, but somehow do not seem to manage to commit or do the things we want and need, we have the ideas of what to do, but something is holding us back.

How?

Coaching can provide the context where you can explore your obstacles openly, either about something specific in your life, like a project, a professional issue -  or life itself in what is commonly known these days as life-coaching.

Coaching, and life-coaching, is not a situation where there is someone (the coach) telling you what to do. That might seem easy, but in the long run does not really provide lasting benefits. Coaching is an empowering process, where the coach will work together with you, in a partnership if you will, in order to facilitate your movement  towards your goals. I may give suggestions or ideas, but mainly I will aim to provide you with the structure and methods so that together we can explore your current situation and your options moving forward. I will also aim to offer a supporting environment where you can build your commitment and motivation towards your goals.

In general, the approach to a specific coaching situation would be in three stages. First an exploration of the situation or problem. From that initial exploration more information might appear, and the problem could be reformulated or clarified. A second phase is more focused on defining the background underlying themes to work with, and identify goals and possible strategies. A third stage is more focused on implementation, and how to bring to fruition the elements of the stages before.

Coaching is about yourself, and your relationship and feelings about your projects and life. If your difficulty is related to a specific project, or task, I might not be an expert or know much about that specific project area, but I will be able to provide you with the opportunities and conditions so that you yourself can understand what is the right course of action for you. Ultimately you are the expert in your life.
